Strategies to help your child sleep

As a qualified sleep practitioner, Theresa understands that a good sleep is essential for children's health, development, and happiness. She is here to help you and your child get the sleep you need.

She works closely with families to develop customized sleep plans that meet their unique needs and help their children achieve better sleep. Her aim is to educate and empower parents to manage their child's sleep, help form bed-time routines and strategies, and to understand the importance of a healthy night's sleep.

Improved cognitive function

Getting enough sleep is essential for cognitive function, including memory consolidation, attention, and problem-solving. Children who get enough sleep may perform better in school, retain information more easily, and have better critical thinking skills.

Better behaviour and mood

When children are well-rested, they're more likely to be in a positive mood and have better emotional regulation skills. They may be less irritable and impulsive and better able to cope with stress.

Getting enough sleep helps to support healthy growth and development in children. It also strengthens the immune system, making children more resistant to illness, and can help prevent obesity and other health problems.
